Ventine Tyrone Richardson lives in Bloomfield, CT. He is the Principal of Milner Core Knowledge Academy in Hartford, CT. "Mr. Rich", as he is affectionately known, has been an educator for twelve years. He spent the majority of his teaching tenure as a 6th grade teacher and math coordinator. He is the father of one son, Ventine Richardson Jr.

Louis Pietragallo Jr. lives in Mt. Lebanon, Pennsylvania with his wife Dana and their 3 children Louie, Anthony and Sophia. He and Dana first developed the idea for Scudder Bug in 2003, shortly after Louie was born. Louie had a very unique crawling style and appeared to be “scuddering” around. So it came to pass that the idea for the Scudder Bug adventures was born.
Louis writes stories for all children to enjoy. He hopes more than anything that each child has a smile on their face when they read about the many adventures of Scudder Bug. Each Scudder Bug story will include the thrill of adventure, a pinch of suspense, a dash of history, and a ton of fun!
Tina Cook and her husband Tom live in Mt. Lebanon, Pennsylvania. She has two step-sons Sean and Ethan. Tina first wrote a short story several years ago, loosely basing the characters on her fire-fighting husband and some of his friends. Last year, she decided to take the story to the next level and The Firehouse Gang was born! Tina has been a fire fighter for 14 years, and a fire instructor for the last seven.
She believes that The FireHouse Gang is a fun and informative way to teach children about fire safety!
Annie R. Donnelly's interest in energy, environmental and health issues inspired the character of Willow Watts. Annie has spent her career in the communications and public affairs fields. She is fascinated by the sciences and deeply respects the engineers, scientists and inventors who devote their careers to researching and developing new technologies that will make the world a cleaner and healthier place. Annie lives in Florida and enjoys being active and spending time outdoors.
